Full-Day

Grant Elementary

Monday, June 9 – Friday, June 13th

7:00 am - 6:00 pm This program serves children entering kindergarten through entering sixth grade. Children must be five years of age by June 9, 2008 and parents are required to submit a copy of the child’s birth certificate upon registering.  Kindergarten enrollment is limited.  The cost of this five-day program is $160.  No partial enrollment available.

This MU summer program offers a variety of activities including swimming, a field trip, guest speakers, educational activities, arts and crafts, and much more.  Children enjoy a morning and afternoon snack and juice each day; children must bring a sack lunch each day.

Paxton Keeley Elementary

Monday, July 21 – Friday August 1st 

7:00 am - 6:00 pm

 This program serves children entering kindergarten through entering sixth grade. Children must be five years of age by June 16, 2008 and parents are required to submit a copy of the child’s birth certificate upon registering.  Kindergarten enrollment is limited.  The cost of this ten-day program is $320.  No partial enrollment available.

This MU summer program offers a variety of activities including swimming, a field trip, guest speakers, educational activities, arts and crafts, and much more.  Children enjoy a morning and afternoon snack and juice each day; children must bring a sack lunch each day.

After School 

Session I - June 16-27 at Grant Elementary

Session II - July 21-Aug 1 at Smithton Middle School

12:15 pm - 6:00 pm

 Children participating in these programs attend Columbia Public School’s Summer Enrichment classes and then join MU Adventure Club from 12:15 pm to 6:00 pm. Children must be enrolled in the Summer Enrichment Program in order to attend Adventure Club. Note: Enrollment in MU Adventure Club is separate from Summer Enrichment enrollment. Contact the CPS Summer Enrichment office for enrollment information. These programs serve children entering kindergarten through entering sixth grade. Children must be five years of age by June 16, 2008 and parents are required to submit a copy of the child’s birth certificate upon registering. Kindergarten enrollment is limited.The cost of the program is $212 per session.

Children enrolled in these summer programs swim twice a week at city pools, participate in weekly themed activities, explore new subjects through exciting guest speakers and educational activities, play group games, create various arts and crafts, and much more.Children enjoy an afternoon snack and juice each day; children must bring a sack lunch each day.

Before School/After School

Rock Bridge Elementary, Shepard & West Boulevard

June 16 - July 18, no programming July 4th

7:00 am – 8:30 am & 3:45 pm - 6:00 pm

 Children must attend Columbia Public School’s Summer Adventure in order to participate in before school and/or after school Adventure Club. Children may only attend MU Adventure Club at the location where they attend the Summer Adventure. These programs serve only children entering kindergarten through entering fourth grade.  Children must be five years of age by June 16, 2008 and parents are required to submit a copy of the child’s birth certificate upon registering.  Kindergarten enrollment is limited. The cost of the program is $305 for am/pm enrollment, $153 for am only and $234 for pm only. 

This MU summer program provides opportunities for children to participate in themed activities, explore new subjects through exciting guest speakers, play group games, engage in outdoor and active play, create various arts and crafts, and much more. Children enjoy an afternoon snack and juice each day.

Lange & Gentry

June 16 - July 18, no programming July 4th  

7:00 am - 8:30 am & 3:45 pm - 6:00 pm

 Children must attend Columbia Public School’s Summer Adventure in order to participate in before school and/or after school Adventure Club.
